Solid State Electronic Materials

This course is offered by Physics Department and open to GATE  qualified  students having  bachelor degree in engineering or masters in physics. Here emphasis is given on understanding solid state physics and functioning of solid state devices which prepares the student to take the challenge of R&D units and industries dealing with semiconductor technology, nanotechnology and material science. With proper balance between theory and application, it paves the way for searching alternative technology and replacing existing one.
